Bunker Interpretive Center

The Bunker Interpretive Center provides a gateway into Calvin's ecosystem preserve. This LEED-certified building contains interactive activities, programs, tours, and also houses labs and classrooms used by various Calvin classes.

Ecosystem Preserve

Calvin College's 90 acre nature preserve, a mix of deciduous forest, wetlands and successional fields provides habitat for diverse flora and fauna. It is used by Calvin classes, tours beginning at the Bunker Interpretive Center, as well as a place for the Calvin community to enjoy Creation.

DeVries Hall Greenhouse

This greenhouse, located within DeVries Hall, houses a wide variety of tropical, desert, and native plants, including a large collection of cacti donated by Fredrick Meijer Garden. Space is also available for the propogation of plants for various classes.

Lake Drive Greenhouse

The greenhouse located at the Lake Drive House also contains a wide variety of tropical plants, cacti, native seedlings, as well as a large collection of orchids.

West Michigan Regional Laboratory

The West Michigan Regional Laboratory (WMRL) is a modern, state of the art facility, designed to administer the highest quality care for animals used in teaching and research projects. The laboratory is governed by a consortium between Spectrum Health and Calvin College. WMRL is located on the Calvin College campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
