The State of Michigan has removed the option of receiving an Art Education Minor. Students pursuing a K-12 Art Endorsement complete a major and minor as listed above.

See Education Program for professional courses. Students wishing to add a second minor will be required to complete more than four years of undergraduate work.

During their last full year on campus, Art Education majors are required to participate in the Senior Exhibition.

Students should plan their course schedule during their freshman year in consultation with the Art Education advisor, Jo-Ann VanReeuwyk. Some core courses fulfill both education and core requirements. ARTE 359 is taken in conjunction with student teaching during the final spring semester.
