397 Architectural Theory and Criticism. * S, odd years. A capstone seminar course for all juniors and seniors enrolled in the prearchitecture program, which re-examines the integral relationship between architectural theories and faith commitments. Special attention will be given to contemporary criticism. Students will address ethical and religious issues as they address various methods of architectural design and practice, in preparation for careers in architecture. Slide lectures and class discussions; a course paper is required. Prerequisites: Junior or senior standing.
